REVEREND JACKSON

Many people are so very busy with taking care of various responsibilities and interest. However, Melvin Hillard Jackson's first priority is God and immediately following this is his family. Reverend Melvin Jackson is a husband of 30 years. His wife is the sweet and kind Schlandra. The Jacksons are devoted parents of one son and five daughters: Melvin Jr., Shanasi, Shatoia, Shaylon, Jeannette, and Violett. They are grandparents to five lovely young grands.

A native of Independence, Louisiana, he was reared in St. Francisville Louisiana. Melvin Jackson is a former Marine Corp Gunnery Sergeant with 25 years of service to our country. "Bo" -- as he is affectionately called by his family and close friends -- works as an educator within the Tangipahoa Parish School System.

Reverend Melvin Hillard Jackson received his Biblical training under the leadership of Rev. Leroy Taylor and the National Baptist Association. Having been adopted, he is concerned about the needs of children within the foster care system and works to positively impact at-risk and foster care children within the school where he works. A believer that the young can, should and must be reached; Minister Jackson's preaching is infused with the message that the Gospel is relevant for all.

REVEREND JACKSON'S PASSIONS

Street evangelism is a true passion for Reverend Melvin Hilliard Jackson. He enjoys opportunities to get outdoors and share the Word of God. Minister Jackson has both a calm demeanor and a zest for life. This friendly Man of God is a Dare-angel who enjoys cruising, snorkeling, zip-lining, sky-diving, competitive family games and trying new things!

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

MATTHEW 28:19
